The Temple

The Masonic Lodge interior seems to be so well organised

and thought out, yet it holds many mysteries for the new mason. The area of the Masonic Lodge that is commonly referred to as the “East” is where the Master of the lodge is seated. The Master of the lodge is elected by the brethren of the lodge annually. The Master is like the Captain of the ship. Directly across the lodge from the Master, in the West, is the Senior Warden’s seat. The Junior Warden is seated in the South of the lodge and other officers are situated within the Lodge area..

Meeting Dates

Breaksea Lodge meets on the 2nd Wednesday of the months of

January March, May and October. Typically starting at 6.15pm and finishing after dinner around 10pm. Meetings start with the members gathering in the hall and a chat in the bar. At 6.15pm the members go upstairs put on their Masonic regalia and proceed into the Masonic Temple, where a more formal meeting is conducted..
